Shakti Foundation is dedicated to the socio-economic empowerment of disadvantaged women through innovative approaches in social and financial inclusion. Founded in 1992 as a non-governmental organization, its mission is to alleviate poverty and foster social stability for women across Bangladesh. Shakti’s initiatives are anchored in four major pillars: Microfinance, Climate Change, Health, and Women Empowerment. Shakti Foundation’s vision is that women are entrepreneurs, change-makers, and leaders, Shakti Foundation strives to equip women with the resources and support needed to transform their lives and communities.
