The DFCD is a €160 million development fund, focused on climate change adaptation.

The DFCD’s impact mandate is as follows:

  • 100,000 hectares of sustainably managed farmland;
  • 100,000 hectares of sustainably managed forests and wetlands;
  • €500 million mobilization of private capital;
  • 13.5 million people positively benefited;
  • Reduce Green House Gas emissions by 40 million tons; and
  • 12.5 million people with clean drinking water.
