The Power of Nutrition’s vision is a world where every child has the right nutrition to achieve their full potential. We were originally founded by the UK Government and Children’s Investment Fund Foundation in 2015 to address the mammoth US$ 1 billion financing gap in the nutrition sector. We do this by raising money and creating partnerships to advance the fight against malnutrition in Africa and Asia. We work as a sector-specialist convener – ensuring that more money flows into the nutrition sector for high quality, scalable and sustainable interventions. We currently support 24 programmes across 16 countries, which are implemented by a range of partners including the World Bank, UNICEF, and other INGOs, all working with host governments.
