As one of the institutions of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), the Research Institute of Science and Technology for Society (RISTEX) supports a wide range of R&D projects and aims to yield solutions to problems that humans and societies in the 21st century face, such as issues related to aging society, environment and energy, safety and security, and medical care. By implementing technologies and other outcomes of R&D, RISTEX aims to contribute to happiness and enrichment of people’s lives.
