As a regional city-making organisation, Think City provides policy thinking, management and implementation of urban solutions while acting as a catalyst for change in how cities are planned, curated, developed, and celebrated.
Adopting a community-first, evidence-based approach, Think City focuses on four main areas: Placemaking, Resilience, Strategy & Analytics and Culture-based Economic Development. Established in 2009 to spearhead urban regeneration in George Town, we have now expanded our work nationwide, implementing projects that enhance the environment, economy, culture, arts and heritage, and resilience of cities.
Think City is a wholly owned subsidiary of Khazanah Nasional Berhad, Malaysia’s national sovereign wealth fund.
