Headquartered in Brussels, VVOB has over 35 years of experience in improving the quality of education in partner countries. Backed by the extensive research that confirms that of all school-level factors, the quality of teaching and school leadership have the greatest impact on learning outcomes and educational equity, VVOB focuses on the professional development of these important actors, supporting Ministries of Education and government agencies to strengthen the systems and institutions charged with the initial education, induction and continuous professional development of teachers and school leaders.
