Women’s World Banking, Inc. is a non-profit organization that designs women-centered financial solutions, invests in financial institutions, and helps to shape policy environments in emerging markets to create greater economic stability and prosperity for women, their families, and their communities. The target beneficiaries of our work are low-income women in developing countries, particularly a set of priority regions where we can achieve greatest scale and impact: Southeast Asia, South Asia and Africa.
Women’s World Banking is a global organization with more than 90 employees and offices in the US (New York), Singapore, Indonesia, Kenya and India, as well as regional staff in Nigeria, Cambodia and Vietnam. The organization works with a global network of cross-sector partners including retail banks, microfinance institutions, fintech companies, governments, and multinational corporations, which today includes 75 organizations in 35 countries, with a reach of 189 million women. These network members serve as implementing, strategic, and advocacy partners that help us achieve our mission.
Since 2018, we’ve reached more than 91 million women in emerging markets with investment, products, services and policies that are transforming women’s lives, households, businesses, and communities, and driving inclusive growth globally.
