About the fund
Managed by AVPN in collaboration with MYSC, and supported by Google.org, this fund will identify strategic partners and catalytic non-profit organisations that get to the heart of the communities in the region who have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic. The key aim is to support practical and transformative tech-driven solutions, that put underserved communities at the center of recovery and future growth.
Grants will be deployed to registered Non-Profit Organisations in South Korea that support;
(i) Underserved Small Medium Business Owners through digital solutions to enable them to thrive in this digital economy and keep their businesses afloat and/or
(ii) Underserved Job Seekers by upskilling/reskilling and providing job matching support to integrate them into the digital economy.

Who is eligible to apply?
Organisation Status
- Registered Charity or Non-Profit Organisation
- Operates in South Korea
- Should NOT be the following;
- Religious organisation (e.g. church, synagogue, mosque etc.
- Consortium (only single application is allowed)
- Cleared from all global sanctions lists (including South Korea), nor blacklisted by any UN or international agency
Impact Areas
You are eligible to apply if your work covers any one of these three areas
- Underserved Small Medium Business* Owners
- You support/deploy digital solutions to enable them to thrive in this digital economy and keep their business afloat.
- Small Medium Business can be defined as an enterprise with average annual sales less than KRW 12,000M
- Underserved Job Seekers*
- You support those impatced by Covid-19 in upskilling / reskilling and job matching to be able to fully participate in this digital society and economy.
- Job seekers can be defined as a person who is not covered by employment insurance
Governance & Ask
- Minimum grant size is KRW 150mil and maximum is KRW 200mil
- It is anticipated that the fund will select at least 5 grantees. AVPN reserves the right to adjust the grant disbursement
- Track record of financial accounts (audited accounts preferred, if available)
- Track record of default, tax payment
