Before embarking on the entrepreneurial path, Teymoor spent 25 years as a news anchor, correspondent and producer for some of the world’s foremost broadcast news operations, such as Al Jazeera, the BBC, CNBC and CNN

Alan is a global industry analyst on the Global Industry Research Team. He conducts fundamental analysis and research on the utilities, energy midstream, and renewable energy/clean technology sectors, and is a member of the Utilities/Energy Team. He is also a portfolio manager of our Global Environmental Opportunities approach.

Alan joined Wellington Management in 2008, upon earning his MBA. Prior to that, he spent six years with the Tivoli software division of IBM, both in product management and business development (2000 – 2006).

Alan graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a master of professional accounting and a bachelor of business administration (2000) and earned his MBA from Dartmouth College (Tuck, 2008).

Dr. Philip B. Duffy Ph.D
President and Executive Director,
WOODWELL CLIMATE RESEARCH CENTER

Dr. Philip Duffy is a physicist who has devoted nearly 30 years to using science to address the societal challenge of climate change. As a former Senior Advisor in the Obama White House, he has helped shape domestic and international climate policy, US global change research, and was involved in international climate negotiations. Dr. Duffy often engages policy- and decision-makers, and serves on committees of the National Academy of Sciences. He is particularly interested in working across traditional boundaries to address climate change, building partnerships with faith leaders, business leaders, and thought leaders across the political spectrum.

Dr. Duffy serves on committees of the National Academy of Sciences, and is frequently quoted in major national media outlets such as the New York Times, the Washington Post, Science, the Boston Globe, NPR, CNN, and MSNBC.

Prior to joining Woodwell Climate Research Center, Dr. Duffy served as a Senior Policy Analyst in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and as a Senior Advisor on the White House National Science and Technology Council. Before joining the White House, Dr. Duffy was Chief Scientist at Climate Central, an organization dedicated to increasing public understanding and awareness of climate change.

To protect the environment, we organize programmes like mangrove nursery and Reforestation, Coastal and River Clean-Up, Community Based Environmental Solid Waste Management, Environmental IEC Campaign and Eco-Academy

To ensure a sustainable livelihood for the community, eco-tourism include Buhatan River Cruise Visitor Center Buhatan River Mangrove Boardwalk are run by the community. Others include Organic Vegetable and Root crops Farming, Vegetable and Root crops Chips and by-products Processing and establishing a Zero waste store.

C. Empowered Communities
To empower the community, we provide product and Agri-Enterprise Development Training, Immersion and Learnings Exchange Program, Earth Warrior Training and Community Based Social Entrepreneurship Training
