DFAT is increasingly working with private sector on social and economic development challenges and supporting catalytic and innovative solutions that see economies in our region grow and jobs created that will lift people out of poverty. DFAT’s support to venture capital, impact investing, development financing and social investment more broadly, is focused on maximising social impacts, particularly for women and girls, agriculture, fisheries and water, health and education, trade facilitation and infrastructure.
