ShelterTech Gender Analysis Study

Share

Did you know?

Only 2% of small businesses in housing and construction are led by women.

We can choose to change that -by making space to understand and include more women in how we build and innovate.

Habitat for Humanity’s Terwilliger Center for Innovation in Shelter, in collaboration with WE Hub, (Govt. of Telangana), has launched the ShelterTech Gender Analysis Study; a first-of-its-kind initiative to explore how gender shapes opportunities, challenges, and innovation in housing and construction.

If you work with startups or entrepreneurs in this space, this is a great way to:

  • Showcase your organization’s commitment to inclusion and innovation
  • Help amplify the voices of women founders and entrepreneurs you support
  • Be part of a broader ecosystem effort shaping the future of inclusive housing
  • For male entrepreneurs: an opportunity to show allyship and contribute to a more balanced and equitable industry

We’d love for you and your network to be part of it.
Because innovation means little if it leaves half the population behind.
