Making the Mark is BlueMark’s annual flagship report highlighting best practices in sustainable and impact investing. The report aims to catalyze learning, accountability, and transparency by sharing insights and benchmarks derived from independent verifications of investor practices. Now in its sixth edition, the report reflects the growing maturity of the market—with many practices that were once cutting-edge now representing a new baseline.

This year’s Making the Mark VI features insights from 208 total verifications:

  • 153 Practice Verifications for 131 investors—a 38% increase from last year
  • 55 Fund ID Verifications for 50 fund managers, representing our first-ever inclusion of Fund ID data

A. Environmental Stewardship
To protect the environment, we organize programmes like mangrove nursery and Reforestation, Coastal and River Clean-Up, Community Based Environmental Solid Waste Management, Environmental IEC Campaign and Eco-Academy

B. Food Security and Sustainable Livelihood
To ensure a sustainable livelihood for the community, eco-tourism include Buhatan River Cruise Visitor Center Buhatan River Mangrove Boardwalk are run by the community. Others include Organic Vegetable and Root crops Farming, Vegetable and Root crops Chips and by-products Processing and establishing a Zero waste store.

C. Empowered Communities
To empower the community, we provide product and Agri-Enterprise Development Training, Immersion and Learnings Exchange Program, Earth Warrior Training and Community Based Social Entrepreneurship Training
