Share

Recent funding cuts globally are not just financial challenges—they have profound human consequences, affecting vulnerable communities and the organisations that serve them. As AVPN members navigate these shifting realities, it is crucial to understand the direct impact on lives, program sustainability, and long-term regional development. This webinar, held on 11th April 2025, brought together experts from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), International Organization for Migration (IOM), and Neartu Global to discuss the human cost of these funding reductions, share adaptive strategies, and explore alternative models to sustain critical programs. Participants heard firsthand how organisations are responding, what support mechanisms exist, and how collaboration within the AVPN ecosystem can drive resilience in the face of shrinking international aid.
