Social Enterprise Consultant training programme

Date

February 6, 2017

Social Enterprise Consultant training programme aims to build local business consultancy network and provide consultancy services to social enterprises with a focus on inclusive businesses/ organisations whose products, services and supply chain serve and engage with bottom of pyramid consumers. This will also include providing business consultancies to revenue generating NGOs and impact focused businesses.  The programme was launched in Myanmar in 2014 as part of British Council Social Enterprise programme.

It will give the opportunity to have the organisation reviewed by a team of local Myanmar trainee business advisors, led by an experience international business associate provided by Challenges Worldwide UK. The programme has been running for three years, we have trained 44 local consultants, and provided consultancy services to 20 organisations in Yangon and 39 organisations across 12 cities in Myanmar.  Please follow the link for documentary of the pilot programme here, and meet the consultants here.
