The complexity and similarity of issues faced by NEA markets, call for greater collaboration and exchange of learning and insights on innovative tools and approaches to maximize impact. Join us in this webinar series as we deep dive into thematic areas relevant to the NEA and explore collective growth and collaboration opportunities.

As the second part of the series, the South Korean team hosted a webinar: “New Wave of Corporate Social Impact: ESG strategy of North East Asia.” The webinar highlighted how large corporates have switched the traditional way of fulfilling corporate social responsibility to engaging diverse stakeholders to achieve their long-term ESG strategy.

The webinar also highlighted companies in the region of South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan with the executive speakers of corporations such as Hyundai Motor Group, SK Innovation, Easy Card, and Fujitsu.

A. Environmental Stewardship
To protect the environment, we organize programmes like mangrove nursery and Reforestation, Coastal and River Clean-Up, Community Based Environmental Solid Waste Management, Environmental IEC Campaign and Eco-Academy

B. Food Security and Sustainable Livelihood
To ensure a sustainable livelihood for the community, eco-tourism include Buhatan River Cruise Visitor Center Buhatan River Mangrove Boardwalk are run by the community. Others include Organic Vegetable and Root crops Farming, Vegetable and Root crops Chips and by-products Processing and establishing a Zero waste store.

C. Empowered Communities
To empower the community, we provide product and Agri-Enterprise Development Training, Immersion and Learnings Exchange Program, Earth Warrior Training and Community Based Social Entrepreneurship Training
