This session is focused on providing practical insights and resources for intermediaries interested in incorporating a gender lens and improving their organisational practice, and an interactive discussion around the needs and future opportunities for capacity building support in the region.
The speakers introduce the “Guide to Impact Incubation and Acceleration” which offers a thorough and practical overview of topics such as financial sustainability, impact measurement, and mentoring as delivered by 11 of the most experienced and knowledgeable incubator and accelerator organisations from around the globe under the DFAT ixC’s Frontier Incubators program, as well as the “Gender Lens Incubation & Acceleration Toolkit” (developed in partnership with the Sasakawa Peace Foundation Asia Women Impact Fund) which offers a deep exploration of the topic of gender and power and provides real-world, actionable strategies for making the work of intermediaries more accessible and inclusive to all genders.
