Adam has worked in the social value and impact management space for 15 years. He completed his PhD in 2010 on how SROI can assist the legitimacy of social enterprises and lectured in UK universities for over 10 years before leaving to work more directly with organisations that aim to change how decisions are made.

More recently, he led a team within Mantell Gwynedd to develop the use of social value in the Welsh third-sector infrastructure, helping to embed necessary skills across North Wales and secure substantial Big Lottery funding. As an Accredited Practitioner, he also worked for Social Value UK for over 4 years and was international training and projects manager. During this time, he successfully completed projects for partners including the British Council, the European Commission and the Greek government. He is also an Accredited Trainer and has supported hundreds of social enterprises, impact investors, SME and corporate organisations, academics, and intermediaries around the world to fulfil their potential to maximise the impacts of their work.

Adam?s role in SVI is to ensure that networks and members globally are equipped and supported to create as much impact as possible ? working with global partners to develop and share the best-practice standards and the Principles of Social Value.
