Support relief efforts in Afghanistan:
- People forced from their homes by conflict need support now. Join Tear Fund in providing an emergency food package (including flour, cooking oil, rice and beans) to a family who have lost their home.
- The needs caused by this latest crisis in Afghanistan are growing. UNHCR calls on the international community to show solidarity and provide timely and lifesaving support to the thousands of men, women and children displaced.
- Global Fund for Children’s partners from Afghanistan to Southeast Europe are on the frontlines ready to respond. Many of them already support Afghan children and youth, and they are prepared to provide emergency services and long-term assistance to help refugees integrate into new countries. But they can’t do it alone.
- Save the Children is providing aid to displaced families by providing them with vital items such as clothes for children, blankets, and household items.
- In Afghanistan, the Asia Foundation maintains strong relationships with the government and civil society, leading to sustainable initiatives in governance and law, women’s empowerment, education, regional cooperation, and the Survey of the Afghan People, conducted annually across all 34 provinces. The Afghanistan Rapid Relief Fund, will be providing flexible funds for Afghan citizens and communities where the funds are most crucial, including for resettlement efforts and vital services, and to support our partners on the ground.
- GlobalGiving is working closely with vettef partners on the ground to get emergency support to people in Afghanistan.
- IIX is partnering with BRAC International to help them raise funds to continue their work with women and children in Afghanistan.
