Alexie is the Fiscal Sponsorship Manager and the Field Advisor for the Philippines at Give2Asia. The Fiscal Sponsorship Program helps Asia-based organizations tap into international support, allowing partners to open a fund at Give2Asia as an alternative to establishing and maintaining a US nonprofit entity. Give2Asia currently has 250 fiscal sponsorship partners across Asia.
As the Philippine Field Advisor, Alexie provides support to Give2Asia programs in the Philippines, particularly in due diligence of recipient organizations, grantee relations and project monitoring. Alexie has been part of the GIve2Asia team since 2012.
Prior to joining Give2Asia, Alexie was with the Asia Pacific Philanthropy Consortium, an independent association of philanthropic institutions and organizations that supported the growth and development of philanthropy in the Asia Pacific region. She began her career at the Ayala Foundation, a leading corporate foundation in the Philippines, developing and managing their projects on Work-Life Balance and Youth Leadership.
Alexie completed her Master’s degree in International Relations in the Brussels campus of the University of Kent, Canterbury. She is also a graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications.
