As a Program Officer for Give2Asia, Aqeela is responsible for managing donor stewardship and donor-client accounts for corporations, foundations and individuals.

Aqeela has extensive experience in global education and international grant administration. Prior to joining Give2Asia, she managed and administered U.S. Department of State funded grants for iEARN-USA. During her tenure, she gained experience building organizational capacity and developing youth education programs in countries throughout Asia and Africa including Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Tajikistan.

Originally from Malawi, Aqeela moved to the U.S. as a high school student. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Bradley University, and a Masters in Social Work and International Development from Washington University in St. Louis. She is an outdoor enthusiast, budding cook, and avid traveller.
