Alexander is responsible for assessing new equity opportunities and currently manages Oikocredit's investments in financial inclusion and sustainable agriculture in India. He has led the equity strategy in India and Southeast Asia where Oikocredit has invested over ?50 million. 

He accumulates 20 years of experience in finance and across several regions and sectors. Before joining Oikocredit, he worked as an investment officer for E+Co, a clean energy fund where he evaluated triple bottom line enterprises in Central America and East Africa. Prior to that he worked as a financial analyst for a U.S. hedge fund, and a debt trader for a major Central American bank.
