William W. Kooser is the associate dean for global outreach at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Based in Hong Kong, Kooser is responsible for developing relationships with key government, business, and media leaders to promote the school, as he identifies ways to further raise the school’s stature and increase activity.

From 2009 to 2013, Kooser worked at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School as associate dean for students. Kooser was responsible for admissions, student services, career services, and financial aid for Carey’s 1,600 students in an array of full-time and part-time business programs. Before that, Kooser held a variety of positions at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, most recently as associate dean for Executive MBA Programs.  
 
Kooser received his BA from Yale University in 1978 and an MBA from Booth in 1981. He also earned an MBA from the Katholieke Universiteit te Leuven in Leuven, Belgium.
