Brendan Culliton is Senior Manager, Partnerships at AVPN. For the past ten years, he has fundraised in support of social impact organisations in both New York and Singapore. Prior to this role, Brendan worked as Operations Manager at the global impact investor, Acumen, overseeing their grants portfolio and building the capacity of their fundraising team. He has also contributed to the development of research reports and strategies at Acumen, UNCDF, and the NYU Wagner Social Innovation and Investment Initiative. These include a first-of-its-kind report on successful investment exits in the off-grid energy sector, as well as a global strategy aimed at improving women’s economic participation. Brendan began his career at QSAC (Quality Services for the Autism Community) in New York. In addition to his role as a fundraiser, Brendan oversaw QSAC’s teacher training programme and co-authored an interactive eBook created to support the parents of preschool-age children with autism. He later volunteered as a member of QSAC’s Development Board and remains passionate about supporting and empowering individuals with disabilities. Brendan holds an MPA from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and a BA from Bates College in Maine.
