Callum joined PwC China in 2008 as Corporate Responsibility (CR) manager for PwC China and Hong Kong, and leads the strategy across PwCâ??s key areas of CR focus â?? Responsible Business, Environmental Stewardship and Community Engagement. 

His role involves working with the firmâ??s CR committee to drive PwCâ??s CR programmes which range from community partnerships and volunteering; working with PwCâ??s environmental sustainability manager to improve the firmâ??s internal environmental performance and engage PwCâ??s workforce in environmental issues; working with HR teams on innovative ways to provide a great place for PwC employees to work and develop in; and helping PwC live up to its position as a market leader in a responsible way.

In 2011 Callumâ??s role expanded to include the coordination PwCâ??s CR across the Asia Pacific, working with CR practitioners in PwC member firms across the region to share best practices and experience, support strategy development, and align strategies and activities across the region with PwCâ??s Global CR strategy. 

Prior to joining PwC, Callum worked with Chinese grassroots NGOs in capacity building and corporate partnership roles, before working with the United Nations and the Beijing Communist Youth League on a Beijing Olympics related project aimed at strengthening volunteering for development in China.

Callum holds a BA in Chinese and Asia Pacific Studies from Leeds University and a post graduate degree in Economics from the University of London. He has been living in Beijing since 2006.
