Carmen enjoys devising long lasting partnerships rich with value for all parties, matching the impact of non profit organisations to the goals and commitments of businesses and philanthropists who also want to make the world a better place in a meaningful, intergenerational way by removing the barriers that hold people back.
Before joining Good Return, Carmen spent 7 years starting and growing a material aid charity in NSW. The Generous and the Grateful turned shelter into home for thousands at risk of, or recovering from, homelessness so they could recover and lead the life they wish from the comfort and safety a true home provides. Prior to that she has been a professional photographer, as well as working for the now UBS in Zurich and New York for almost 8 years within the equities research team helping clients access data and supporting relationship development for the sales teams. She is a keen traveller off the beaten track(56 countries and counting so far), as well as a proud mum of both humans and pets.
