Karthik has been working in the healthcare sector for nearly 15 years across different contexts (private and not-for-profit) and different markets (India & Sub-Saharan Africa) and focusing on designing and deploying long-term and multi-stakeholder programs targeted at improving health outcomes for different clinical conditions (ranging from maternal & child health to oncology & mental health). Prior to KOIS, Karthik worked at the Center for Public Health & Development (Kenyan-based public health organization); citiesRISE (urban youth-focused mental health platform) and at Philips HealthTech (US, India, and Kenya). In his roles, Karthik has spent a significant amount of time on the ground - gathering clinical insights to co-create, productize, and eventually operationalize complex solutions with the end-customer.
