About

Elisa is Vice President for Impact Monitoring and Research at Epic. At Epic she is in charge of managing and monitoring a global portfolio of non profit organizations. She structured the monitoring framework of the Foundation and is in charge of its implementation. Besides other tasks, Elisa also handles the grant making process, she contributes to Epic’s research agenda and supports relations with donors. Prior to joining Epic, she worked in leading international organizations across different developing countries in South East Asia and East Africa. In her latest assignment for the United Nations, she served as Economic Affairs Officer at UNESCAP in Bangkok (2014-2015) focusing on trade facilitation, private sector development and Corporate Social Responsibility. Elisa also served as Attaché to the UNIDO Regional Representative to the Economic Commission for Africa and African Union in Ethiopia (2011-2013) providing technical assistance to government counterparts on policies and projects. From 2008-2011, she worked with the Poverty Reduction Unit of UNDP Cambodia, where she covered different roles, including project management of Private Sector Development and program oversight for a $30m portfolio of programs in the areas of Trade, Mine Clearance and Aid Coordination & Effectiveness. She contributed to various publications and has coordinated a number of national, regional and international events. Elisa holds a Masters in Social Policy and Development at LSE (London) and a Bachelor in International Economics and Management at Bocconi University (Milan). She is an Italian citizen and currently lives in Singapore.
