About

After a well-established senior career spanning more than 20 years in financial advisory, corporate financial and investigative due diligence in the commercial sector, Eugenia re-focused her efforts on strategic and venture philanthropy, social innovation and social entrepreneurship in 2016. As the former CEO of a Hong Kong-based registered charitable organisation addressing venture philanthropy and impact investment, Eugenia advised non-profit organisations and social enterprise start-ups, working on different social challenges in Hong Kong e.g. poverty alleviation, active ageing, social inclusion, adapting technology for good etc. Since 2019, Eugenia has been overseeing a HKSAR government-funded incubator for social purpose organisations tackling poverty alleviation or prevention and social inclusion issues. In her other capacities, Eugenia remains closely engaged with the local social sector through various partnerships with different HKSAR government-funded incubators, private funders and foundations, and key stakeholders in Hong Kong’s impact sector. Core themes in her current work are philanthropy and impact advisory, fundraising for social purpose organisations and programme design. Overall, Eugenia’s extensive project advisory experience in different geographies (South East Asia, China, Europe and the US) and across various sectors (private equity, consumer markets, professional services, facilities management)) has been valuable in different aspects of her philanthropy and venture advisory work. Eugenia has a BSc (Econ), focusing on Accounting and Finance, from The London School of Economics and Political Science. Eugenia is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.
