Chatarina Trihastuti is the Director of ProVisi, a company that strives to significantly contribute in improving the quality of education in Indonesia. She connects and works with the governments, local communities, non-profits, foundations, impact investors, and individuals to raise the bar in education.

Chatarina has been involved in the development of more than 250 high quality of children books with local book creators and in the development of more than 550 child friendly libraries in several different regions in Indonesia. She also shares her technical expertise and recommendation to the MoECRT, by taking part as the Ministerial Special Staff Experts in Strategic Issues, working closely to coordinate the literacy initiatives with all main units in MoECRT. 

Prior to joining ProVisi in 2014, Chatarina was part of the national field team in the PSF World Bank, focusing on gender equality in conflict areas. Chatarina holds a Master in International Relations, with a focus on Conflict and Resolution, from Universitas Gadjah Mada Yogyakarta and has a Bachelor degree in English Letters from Universitas Sanata Dharma Yogyakarta, which brought her to be a teacher before.
