About

Kruthiga aka Kru, is an education professional, skilled in various learning & development spheres such as 
instructional design, qualification development, education policy drafting, education project 
management, conference production, competency development, case based facilitation and technical 
training. 

Over the past 18 years, Kruthiga has designed and developed several capacity building programmes, 
international conferences, B2B networking seminars, directors training programmes and learning 
interventions. Whilst with the Securities Industry Development Centre (SIDC), the training arm 
of Securities Commission Malaysia, Kruthiga was responsible for managing and executing several strategic education alliances and joint venture programmes with international bodies such as ADB, APEC,
 ASEAN, OECD, ACCA and ICAEW. 

In her previous role at Asian Banking School, the Banking industry’s prime provider of professional education and 
capability development programmes, Kruthiga managed core teams responsible for business operations, programme management and customer service. Her role’s key purpose was to synergise strategy, operations and marketing for effective delivery of Asian Banking School’s host of offerings. 

Formerly, Kruthiga was a senior lecturer and centre manager, teaching software development at 
National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT), Malaysia before she embarked into learning & 
development roles in the financial services industry. 

Currently, she is with Asia School of Business managing 3 distinct portfolios for the MIT Sloan School - Central Bank of Malaysia setup; Strategy and Corporate Outreach, Scholarships and Executive Education.
