Madhavika Bajoria is the Executive Director of the Health and Nutrition Platform at AVPN, Asia’s largest network of over 600 social investors across 35 countries. She leads AVPN’s health strategy and cross-cutting initiatives that bridge climate and health, gender-responsive systems, mental health, and integrated disease solutions. Under her leadership, AVPN’s health platform has become a regional hub for mobilizing catalytic capital, building funder communities, and advancing Asian-led innovations to strengthen health systems across the region. Previously, Madhavika led AVPN’s partnerships team, where she developed a strategic roadmap that contributed to AVPN’s revenue growth, geographic expansion, and the mobilisation of philanthropic capital aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. With over a decade of global experience across policy, program implementation, and cross-sector partnerships, Madhavika has worked at the intersection of health, gender, and social protection. In her previous role at Swiss-based foundation, Sight and Life, she helped influence WHO’s policy on maternal nutrition and scale prenatal micronutrient supplementation in over 10 countries in Africa and Asia. In India, she launched and scaled IMPAct4Nutrition, the country’s first private sector engagement platform for workplace nutrition, which mobilized 200 companies to reach 10 million employees. Her work has been recognised with the Aparajita Award (2022) in the Social Impact category, honouring women leaders driving systemic change in India. She is part of AVPN’s global management team, which spans 135 staff across 18 countries, and has previously worked with organisations such as J-PAL, CARE, and the ILO. Madhavika holds an MPA from Columbia University, a BA in International Relations and Economics from Bryn Mawr College, and a diploma in International Relations from the London School of Economics. She has lived and worked across Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America and is currently based in India.
