About

Maha is an experienced public policy analyst with diverse experience in public policy research and advocacy. As a first-generation college student, Maha is passionate about democratising access to higher education: she is particularly committed to empowering communities through grassroots participation and utilising a whole-of-ecosystem approach in constructing a more equitable education landscape for all. Before joining the Creador Foundation, Maha was an analyst with the Central Bank of Malaysia (Bank Negara Malaysia), working on policies that leverage technology to drive meaningful financial inclusion among vulnerable communities. Her work has included engagement and involvement with multiple stakeholders ranging from the federal government, state agencies, research houses, non-profits and other stakeholders. She is also experienced in crisis management strategies and was a key player in the Central Bank’s COVID-19 Crisis Response and Coordination team. Maha holds a BSc in Economics from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
