Michael leads Charities Aid Foundation's international work, the CAF Global Alliance, working with our offices in Brazil, Bulgaria, India, North America, Russia and Southern Africa to unleash the true potential of philanthropy and civil society to transform lives and communities around the world. 

Michael has a long track record of working in international development.  He was a senior advisor at the Commonwealth Secretariat, responsible for developing and leading on the Secretariat’s stakeholder and partnership management strategy for governments, inter-governmental institutions, private sector and NGOs.  Before this, Michael led VSO's private sector engagement programme, working with multinational companies on supply chain sustainability and community development projects.
