Co-founder and Director of the Insitor Impact Asia Fund, Micaela leads the Fund's management team and has overall responsibility covering investment and portfolio management activities. Micaela started working in impact investing in South and Southeast Asia, in 2008, as co-founder and managing director of the Insitor Seed Fund. Prior to Insitor, Micaela worked at the strategy-consulting firm, Bain and Company, in Milan, where she led start-up, turnaround, and merger and acquisition engagements for leading European financial groups. Before joining Bain in 1998, she was part of the Finance group of Arthur Andersen Business Advisory. Micaela first moved to Southeast Asia in 2006, when she took a sabbatical to support the Cambodian-based anti-trafficking group, Hagar International, in the turnaround of their social businesses.
