Pierre Lorinet is a non-executive Director of Trafigura Group Pte Ltd, Puma Energy Holdings Pte Ltd, Impala Terminals and has recently joined the board of the Trafigura Foundation. Since its launch in 2007 the Trafigura Foundation has partnered with organisations across the world in carrying out and strengthening programmes in its three areas of focus: sustainable development, education & integration, and health.

Pierre is also a member of the National Art Council of Singapore, the Executive Committee of the French Lycee of Singapore and a Director of Fondation Oyun. Pierre’s personal philanthropic journey in the last couple of years has been centred on expanding the work of his family foundation. Fondation Oyun’s mission is to target initiatives on education, employability and access to clean water and energy in Mongolia and South East Asia.

Until September 2015 Pierre was the Group Chief Financial Officer as well as Managing Director Asia-Pacific for Trafigura. Before joining Trafigura in 2002, Pierre worked in the banking sector in the UK and the Middle East.

Pierre graduated from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris in France and holds an MSc in Finance with distinction from Lancaster University in the UK.
