Sanjiv Ray is an accomplished finance professional with extensive global education and experience. He has a unique blend of experience both in the Corporate and Social Development space. He recently joined the Habitat Asia-Pacific Team, as a Terwilliger Fellow in India. Previously, Sanjiv Ray worked in impact investing with social enterprises and held various management positions with private sector firms including IDFC, Oracle, Xerox and Nabisco. He holds a MBA from McGill University in Canada and is a Chartered Management Accountant. Terwilliger Center for Innovation in Shelter (TCIS), a unit of Habitat for Humanity, works with housing market systems by supporting local firms and expanding innovative and client-responsive services, products and financing so that households can improve their shelter more effectively and efficiently. The India Centre is planning to run accelerator to identify, nurture and accelerate startups and early-stage companies that are bringing shelter solutions to the market in way that serve low-income households.
