About

Sejal is the Manager, South Asia at AVPN and is responsible for supporting the South Asia team in establishing AVPN in the region and helping the team to expand their member base in the region. 

She has always been passionate about working in the development sector and gender equity and quality education are causes that are close to her heart. Sejal has worked with Teach For India (an NGO that strives to eliminate education inequity in India). In her role at Teach For India, she worked on Alumni engagement and enabling early-stage projects. 

She has done her B.A in Economics and Statistics and her Master's in Economics. She is enthusiastic about writing, traveling, and reading.
