With over 15 years of experience in the media circuit, Shumita has worked with leading publication houses across India including The Times of India, Sakal Papers and Indian Express . She has vast experience in the field of marketing communication and magazine creation. With a Masters degree in English Language and a Masters in Journalism and Communication, Shumita’s last assignment before taking over as General Manager, Social Venture Partners, Pune, was serving as the Executive Editor of the monthly Education journal, “Educon” that connected the academic community of India. In addition Shumita also has wide experience of teaching Communication studies to various reputed colleges across the country and regularly mentors young keen minds.
