Dr. Stephan Dyckerhoff started to build up Buurtzorg Asia in 2014 as a social enterprise and a joint venture with the Dutch Buurtzorg Group. Today its business has spread to Japan, China, Taiwan, and India with pilot projects in operation in South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia.

Before that, from 2008 to 2013, he was President for North Asia in SCA, a Swedish consumer goods and elderly care company. Under his leadership, SCA businesses grew from 40 million euro to 200 million euro in North Asia, and from zero to 80 million euro in China. Before that, he had worked 13 years in Cap Gemini Group, a consulting firm, in Germany, Switzerland, and China. Dr. Dyckerhoff has a Ph. D/MBA in Business Administration from University of St. Gallen. He is happily married with five children and resides in Shanghai, China with his family.
