Willson Cuaca is the founding and managing partner of East Ventures, an early stage investment fund with a focus on consumer Internet, mobile and SaaS. East Ventures started investing in Indonesia in 2010 when no one believed in Indonesia's consumer Internet potential. Within 6 years, East Ventures has funded over 80 early stage companies in South East Asia. Most of the companies have received subsequent funding rounds, riding on top of Indonesia middle class consumer growth. East Ventures has also exited investments through M&A to local and international companies. Willson sits on the advisory board of Code4Nation.id, a pro-bono movement endorsed by President Joko Widodo to help Indonesia's government solve problems through software. He brings his expertise in ecosystem building and product/market-fit to accelerate product delivery and value proposition offerings.
