International interest in SROI is growing as an approach to account for and manage the social and environmental impact of an organisation’s work. Over the last couple of years a number of organisations have started to explore SROI in India. AVPN is supporting the SROI Network to hold a one day workshop in Mumbai on 16 October to help funders and growing social purpose organisations learn more about the practical application of Social Return on Investment. Jeremy Nicholls, the CEO of the SROI Network will be facilitating the day.SROI Network

This event will provide an overview of SROI, what it is and how it works. It will look at how it can be used in different situations and for different purposes. A number of organisations that have used SROI in India will present case studies of their experience. There will be an opportunity to share experience and to consider how the approach can be developed in India and whether a national network would be helpful.
