AVPN is a unique funders’ network committed to building a vibrant and high-impact social investment community across Asia. AVPN’s mission is to catalyse the movement toward a more strategic, collaborative, and outcome-focused approach to social investing, ensuring that resources are deployed as effectively as possible to address key social challenges facing Asia today and in the future.

AVPN’s Senior Associate, Vietnam will be AVPN’s local point of contact in the market, helping to shape strategy, positioning, and relationship building for the organisation, including servicing current members, recruiting new members, and helping cultivate relationships with existing and prospective Vietnam based funders. The Senior Associate will report to the Regional Director, Southeast Asia.

Support with relationship management for members based in Vietnam
Growth and retention of membership (shared targets)
Work with members and partners to drive programmes which catalyse impact investing activities in Vietnam and Asia
Work with other AVPN offices to strengthen the country-specific value proposition to the social investment community, including but not limited to wealth-holders, social purpose organisations, policymakers, and capacity builders.
Identify fundraising opportunities in Vietnam and work with other team members to develop proposals.
Coordinate and support events and programmes that include members, SPOs and partners in Vietnam, including but not limited to roundtable and panel discussions, workshops, webinars and seminars.
Effectively implement programs to achieve KPIs set by grants for this market.
Liaise and partner with Market Representatives/Country Directors in other regions to strengthen AVPN support for members and stakeholders on a regional level.
Representation of AVPN at external events in Vietnam.

2-4 years of experience in a related role.
Demonstrate understanding of the social investment ecosystem in Vietnam and other countries in Southeast Asia
Demonstrated understanding of capital funders from impacting investing, corporate engagement, foundations and not-for-profit organisations
Experience in member/partnership management or business development
Strong communication skills: ability to communicate internally with teams, represent AVPN externally and identify opportunities to support members in their efforts to achieve social impact.
Good networking and prospecting skills combined with strong marketing skills and ecosystem knowledge
Ability to identify opportunities for membership growth and engagement
Results-oriented attitude with a clear focus on converting opportunities into outcomes
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of independence while being proactive in sharing and leveraging networks and knowledge with colleagues.
