Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT) – Open Mapping Hub-Asia Pacific

Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT) is an international team dedicated to humanitarian action and community development through open mapping. We work together to provide map data which revolutionizes disaster management, reduces risks, and contributes to achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. Through our five Impact Areas – Gender, Public Health, Sustainable Cities, Disasters & Climate, and Displacement – HOT catalyzes local communities through ownership of data to advance their prosperity. We integrate gender-sensitive data across all Impact Areas to improve quality of life for populations.

Launched in 2020, the Open Mapping Hub Asia Pacific (AP Hub) serves as a catalyst, a promoter of advancing the understanding and use of open technology through mapping for development initiatives. Focused on 25 priority countries with high risk of disasters and multidimensional poverty across the region, the AP Hub is committed to supporting the organizations and communities in region
