AVPN is proud to have hosted the “Uniting Efforts: Collaborative Paths to ASEAN Health Resilience” event on September 2nd. In partnership with ASEAN BAC and the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, this remarkable side dialogue unfolded in Jakarta.
The event brought together a diverse assembly of delegates to engage in profound discussions about the essential facets of health resilience. It also spotlighted the pivotal endeavors of the ASEAN BAC Health Working Group, committed to disseminating knowledge, improving lives, fostering research and development, promoting innovation, and driving policy enhancements.
Two standout sessions marked the event’s significance: “Public-Private Partnerships for Climate-Responsive Healthcare in ASEAN” and “Inclusive Innovation: Bridging the Health Access Gap through Collaborative Private Sector Initiatives.” The former session explored the imperatives of such partnerships, challenges in healthcare delivery, efficient information dissemination, commitment reinforcement, and the formulation of climate-responsive health action plans. The latter session underscored the significance of investing in cutting-edge health technology, advocating for awareness, supporting local initiatives to amplify their impact, addressing data-sharing and privacy intricacies, and nurturing cross-regional cooperation.
