The Landscape for Impact Investing in South Asia

This report provides a comprehensive overview on the Indian impact investing space. The objective of this study is to develop an understanding of the status of the impact investing markets in six countries in South Asia—Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. This research is intended to serve as a critical input for future investments and engagement to build and grow these markets. The key themes explored include the current status and trends in terms of the types of active investors, capital deployment, opportunities for and challenges to investing, the demand for impact capital, challenges to accessing capital and opportunities for enterprise growth, and the vibrancy and scale of the supportive ecosystem for the industry. This report will be useful for policymakers in India and elsewhere to learn about the key players and their effect on the impact investing space – which will provide insights on how and who to collaborate with on social policies.

To protect the environment, we organize programmes like mangrove nursery and Reforestation, Coastal and River Clean-Up, Community Based Environmental Solid Waste Management, Environmental IEC Campaign and Eco-Academy

B. Food Security and Sustainable Livelihood
To ensure a sustainable livelihood for the community, eco-tourism include Buhatan River Cruise Visitor Center Buhatan River Mangrove Boardwalk are run by the community. Others include Organic Vegetable and Root crops Farming, Vegetable and Root crops Chips and by-products Processing and establishing a Zero waste store.

C. Empowered Communities
To empower the community, we provide product and Agri-Enterprise Development Training, Immersion and Learnings Exchange Program, Earth Warrior Training and Community Based Social Entrepreneurship Training
