AVPN Webinar: Collaborative Approaches for Fostering Healthcare Innovations

2020 was a year of transformation, particularly to the healthcare innovation ecosystem. The pandemic has exposed several vulnerabilities in health systems but it has also brought to the forefront immense opportunities for the health tech/MedTech players and innovators. The challenges in scaling indigenous innovations are more systemic and need collaborative approaches with coming together of stakeholders from governments, industry, multilateral, hospitals, foundations, and innovation enablers.

The webinar:

  • Understood the systemic gaps in scaling up healthcare innovations and the opportunities for the funders/investors thereof
  • Understood about Pay-for-Success instruments to enable scaling up of innovative and effective service delivery models in mental health that are community-led
  • Understood how funders can explore and scale community-led models that leverage social capital and do not place a further burden on government front line workers

To protect the environment, we organize programmes like mangrove nursery and Reforestation, Coastal and River Clean-Up, Community Based Environmental Solid Waste Management, Environmental IEC Campaign and Eco-Academy

B. Food Security and Sustainable Livelihood
To ensure a sustainable livelihood for the community, eco-tourism include Buhatan River Cruise Visitor Center Buhatan River Mangrove Boardwalk are run by the community. Others include Organic Vegetable and Root crops Farming, Vegetable and Root crops Chips and by-products Processing and establishing a Zero waste store.

C. Empowered Communities
To empower the community, we provide product and Agri-Enterprise Development Training, Immersion and Learnings Exchange Program, Earth Warrior Training and Community Based Social Entrepreneurship Training
