AVPN Webinar: Mobilizing Human Capital for Greater Social Impact

Share

An organization’s most valuable asset is its people – their skills, individual identities, and uniquely lived experiences that employees bring with them when they arrive to work. When these attributes are harnessed, social purpose organizations can increase their impact and work toward solving the socio-economic crisis that matters most to them. But the answers to the above aren’t easy. Finding, retaining, developing and constantly engaging talents are problems that organisations are constantly grappling with.

There is also a growing trend that is sweeping across the globe at the moment: a need for finding and defining careers of meaning and purpose. This has led to a steady increase in the interest of people in exploring careers where they can create social impact.

AVPN members, Amani Institute and Arthan Careers, have significant experience in building human capital capacity in the social impact sector.

In this webinar, Shehzia Lilani from Amani Institute and Anchal Kakkar from Arthan Careers, covered the following two perspectives:

  • Finding the right talent to match the organizational needs
  • Building the skills within individuals to create social impact
