Cambridge Associates (CA), in partnership with the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN), has developed and launched the Impact Investing Benchmark – the first comprehensive analysis of the financial performance of market rate private equity and venture capital impact investing funds. Despite the common perception that impact investing necessitates accepting concessionary returns, the Impact Investing Benchmark demonstrates that it is indeed possible to achieve risk-adjusted market rates of return through impact investing. To read the full report, click here.

Based on data from funds across various vintage years, geographies, and fund sizes, it was found that impact investing funds have been able to perform in line with the broader universe of conventional private investment funds, although manager skill is paramount.

During this webinar, Cambridge Associates’ Mission-Related Investing Group will be providing an in-depth walk through of how the Impact Investing Benchmark was developed, along with the insights they have gathered from their analyses.
