India has 164.4 million children (0-6 year) as per Census 2011, and the need for quality childhood care and education is immense. While a lot of innovative work is happening in the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) sector in India, it is being done in silos. Hence, the outcomes generated are dispersed and diffused, lacking a maximum impact. There is an immediate need to take stock of the situation and bring together forces, that will work to create synergies for solving the problem.
In this webinar, we heard from AVPN members, DHFL Changing Lives Foundation and Central Square Foundation (CSF), who are working on a systemic level to address ECCE issues.
Through the webinar, Siddhi Lad and Krishnan S:
- Examined the Early Childhood Education provision landscape in India;
- Highlighted best systemic practices and approaches for all stakeholders;
- Explored opportunities for collaboration across platforms driven by DHFL Changing Lives Foundation and CSF.
