Generation Thailand

Generation was launched by McKinsey & Company to close the education-to-employment gap for young people, and has now become a separate entity. Our vision is to enable a meaningful career and sustained well-being for every person, anywhere in the world. Generation operates in 17 countries and has had more than 71,000 learners and worked with over 9,800 employers. Generation Thailand was launched in 2021 in Thailand, we are currently collaborating with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) and Microsoft Philanthropies to train and place 350 needful individuals into technology (225) and healthcare (125) roles over 24 months. In addition, our goal is to engage with local Training Partners and Delivering Partners, including universities, to adopt Generation’s methodology.

PT SeatechEnergy Indonesia

PT SeatechEnergy Indonesia is active in the production of seaweed. The company developed a platform for the offshore cultivation of seaweed at large scale.

Engineering Good Ltd.

We are a Singapore-based non-profit that supports inclusivity for vulnerable communities, such as persons with disabilities and low-income families, through sustainable engineering and technology.

Handprint

Handprint was founded in 2019 when seasoned entrepreneur Mathias Boissonot started working with SMU academics Assistant Prof Simon JD Schillebeeckx and Dr. Ryan Merrill following their research for UN and DBS on sustainable digital finance in Asia.

Handprint’s mission is to make it valuable for companies to contribute to social and environmental regeneration in a few clicks.

After three years in operations, Handprint is Asia’s leading social and environmental regeneration platform that allows companies to seamlessly integrate credible, SDG-aligned positive impact projects into their products, services, and business processes.

Handprint’s marketplace centers on two sets of activities. On the impact side, we source, curate, evaluate, digitize, productize, certify, and track high quality impact projects around the world. On the client side, we create tools to enable companies to embed impact into all kinds of stakeholder interactions (products, services, transactions, attention).

Make A Difference (MAD)

Make A Difference (MAD), a Goa based NGO, works with children in need of care and protection (CNCP). MAD started from Kochi in 2006 was co-founded by Jithin C Nedumala who is its current CEO. Through its four key programmes—Ed Support, Foundational Programme, Transition Readiness & Aftercare, MAD provides children and developing adults in the age range of 10–28 years a strong support network and a secure emotional environment until they break out of the cycle of intergenerational poverty within a single generation. Through a unique volunteer driven model – of 3,000 pro bono volunteers, MAD successfully impacts the lives of 3,500 children annually. In the next 10 years, MAD aims to impact 1,00,000 children.

Livestock Development for Community Livelihood (LDC)

Livestock Development for Community Livelihood Organization (LDC) is a sister organization of the Centre for Livestock and Agriculture Development (CelAgrid) since 1997 and was officially registered as LDC at the Ministry of Interior 2018. LDC is led by a group of competitive and experienced agricultural and livestock specialists and is working in close collaboration with development, research and academic institutions and students although communities are LDC target for improving their knowledge and livelihoods.

LDC undertakes i)-agricultural and livestock research for sustainable use of local natural resources, ii)-transfer the best practice of the research results to apply with concerned stakeholders, and iii)-implement rural development work emphasizing food security and household income.

Internet Society

Internet Society is a global nonprofit founded by Internet pioneers in 1992. Our vision is that the Internet is for everyone. Our mission is to support and promote the development of the Internet as a global technical infrastructure, a resource to enrich people’s lives and livelihoods, and a force for good.

Over the past 30 years, our global community has grown to include 96,000 individual members and 132 Chapters and Special Interest Groups in over 100 countries. This network enables us to act globally and locally, positions successful projects for ready replication, and instills our work with a diversity of experiences and perspectives.

Today, we’re working with communities throughout the world to close the digital divide by supporting them in the engagement and development of local capacity to deploy Internet infrastructure, connect those who need it most, and reach areas where traditional providers don’t operate.

Moreloop

Moreloop curates surplus fabrics from quality garment factories and creates a market to allow SMEs to access quality fabrics at reasonable price. By offering high quality alternatives to virgin materials, Moreloop aims to create a more sustainable world, reduces overall carbon emission, and make circular economy a reality.

Accelerate Community Technology (ACTSE)

Accelerate Community Technology (ACTSE) is a startup located in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and specializes in web application development. ACTSE develops digital tools and digital platforms to accelerate a power of community-based organizations (CBO) and helps them work more effectively with higher outcomes and lower workloads. The core application package of HIV/STDs services are based on RRTTPR or Reach, Recruit, Test, Treat, Prevent, and Retain. ACTSE’s goal is to expand their impacts to other healthcare facilities and private sectors in Thailand.

Contented Living Group Holding Limited

Contented Living provides affordable yet comfortable housing for overseas university students and young professionals, aged under 30 years old with monthly income below HK$25k. Our accommodations range from HK$3.8k – 8.5k per month per person, depending on the location and facilities. The room types are mainly co-live sharing (single gender), with a shared bathroom or ensuite bathroom, kitchen, and common area.

Prospect Burma

Prospect Burma addresses the skills gap in Myanmar to tackle the country’s worsening humanitarian crisis and to build human capital for a better future. We offer practical, targeted support to equip individuals and organisations with expertise to match their energy and dedication to build a peaceful future. We work with local partners to provide access to critical thinking skills and formal education from post-high school level upwards. We offer scholarships to quality higher education abroad which isn’t available in Myanmar. Our theory of change is based on a multiplier effect: by improving equitable access to knowledge, confidence, critical thinking skills, international awareness, and leadership skills, individuals can use these skills to build capacity in-country and maximise the positive difference they can make. Our scholars have gone on to work in influential positions in international and Myanmar companies, and organisations such as the World Bank, WHO and the UN.

Aarohi

Aarohi is a not-for-profit grassroots organization, involved in integrated rural development in the Central Himalayan region of Uttarakhand with a vision to create a more equitable society. Our mission is to create development opportunities for rural Himalayan communities through quality education, healthcare, promotion of livelihoods and any other development interventions. Our work extends through Nainital and Almora districts and activities relate primarily to HealthCare, Education, Livelihoods, Energy, and Forest Management.

Aarohi started basic healthcare services in 1992 to meet the desperate need of people in a remote village in the Nainital District of Uttarakhand. The small clinic today is a modern hospital (Aarohi Arogya Kendra) with outpatient, inpatient, pathological laboratory & advanced diagnostic services like radiology, X–ray, E.C.G., dental and surgical care services. The clinic continue to respond to medical emergencies and to provide appropriate referral services.
